For my A2 project and my AS project, i researched real media products and used their codes and conventions.

Planning timetables - i used a planning timetable to organise when and where we were going to film. This enabled us to finish filming before the deadline.

Using digital technology

what technology have you used? how have you developed its uses?

Photoshop
I used photoshop for my preliminary task at AS and then for my music magazine, and finally for my advert and digipack in A2. I have progressed throughout the process.
For example, for my preliminary task i used basic skills such as cropping and adjusting the size of photographs. When i moved onto my music magazine, i developed my photoshop skills and learnt how to use new tools. For example, when cutting out images, i used the magic wand tool. i edited images by enhancing the brighteness and contrast to make the images more effective. Because of my developed skills with photoshop, i was able to make the advert in A2 quickly and effectivley.

Camera
I used a video camera for my music video for my A2 project. I also used a video camera to record voiceovers and record evaluations for my AS and A2 project. My camera skills developed by using tri-pods for my A2 project and editing in post-production.

Internet
i used the internet in my A2 project, by using youtube for research of music videos.
